Martha and Eliot love Maine. Having both grown up and met here, it was inevitable this New England state would be the location of and inspiration for their wedding. “We wanted the wedding to reflect us and Maine,” Martha says. “There were a number of out of town guests coming to Maine for the first time and we wanted them to see and experience why we love Maine so much.” The couple chose a simple color palette of white and green to reflect the natural beauty of the state. The green was inspired by the evergreens of Maine with a pine tree theme resonating throughout.

This week we are inspired by pie!  There are so many flavors to choose from--cherry, warm apple, sweet peach and many more.  Everyone loves the smell of a freshly baked pie while enjoying a slice with some ice cream.  Bring this feeling to your wedding and have a wonderful time together with your family and friends.

Consider flipping through old photographs to pinpoint the style that would suit you best on your wedding day. If you are feeling bold, colorful wedding gowns can be just as elegant and special as white ones. Don’t be afraid to stray away from the classic white wedding gown for a modern twist to your wedding look.

Already nostalgic about the end of summer, I thought there was nothing that could inspire a summer wedding more than Georgia peaches. The color peach can be both bold and whimsical, and can combine with various other colors to really make your wedding shine. Use this versatile color in dresses, shoes, cakes, and invitations. If you are feeling inspired, even use real peaches in table arrangements, desserts, and other decorations.
