Do you have a creative groom who would appreciate a quirky and fun boutonniere adorning his lapel? You can create your own chiffon rosette, then use vintage silk flowers or found florets that inspire you. Stitch a silk flower of your choice into the rosette and try including a silk leaf for a more natural feel. If you want to further embellish your groom's boutonniere, adorn it with lace or ribbon. Attach a pin to the back to wear it like you would a flower boutonniere!

Vintage Mr. and Mrs. linen towels, or custom ones that you choose to fit your color palette and theme, can easily be dressed up with knitted and chiffon ribbons, as well as buttons, to create a whimsical chair decoration for the bride and groom. Simply choose your towel, attach cute buttons of your choice to the upper corners on the front, then sew whatever ribbons you like to the back. The ribbons can then be used to tie the decorations onto the back of chairs for an adorable DIY touch.

Pennant flags are a simple way to add festive flair to your wedding. To make the fabric flags featured in the Fall/Winter edition of the magazine simply cut out your desired fabric into triangles in the shape and size that most appeals to you. Leave about an inch and a half of fabric at the top of the triangle (see bottom left image). place the rope along the top part of the triangle and roll the extra fabric around the rope, pinning it to secure it. Sew straight across the top part, fastening the rope to the fabric triangle.
