Originating in Europe, the Damson plum has made a big splash on American shores! The Damon plum is one of the main ingredients of Averell Gin. During New York State's Fall Damson Harvest, Damson plums are barrel-pressed to extract the juice along with the rich color of the skins, and united with small-batch American Gin from upstate New York to form Averell Damson Gin. Being the spiciest and most tart of all the plums, the Damson plum makes this gin one of a kind!
