Maureen & Jeff's autumn nuptial celebration took place in the Catskill Mountain Village of Fleischmanns, NY. The couple knew they wanted a fall wedding, and hope to have it during fall foliage. Deciding on their best man's vacation home in Fleischmanns was a no brainer for the couple, as there was a beautiful view of the mountains, enough room for their 100 guests, & was within driving distance of their home town, Washington DC.
The color palette reflected the beauty of the season. The bridesmaid's dresses were deep chocolate with wraps of cranberry. The groomsmen were dressed in rich plaid suits, with wine-colored paisley ties.
Maureen & Jeff thought one of the best features of their wedding was the reception tent. It was decorated with 60 Chinese lanterns in autumn color for a truly breathtaking effect. Their goal was to have an elegantly casual autumn wedding as it would reflect both of their styles, & they surpassed their expectations.
Maureen & Jeff's advice: "Relax - no one knows the details but you. Don't try to do too much. It goes by far too quickly. Enjoy your family and your friends. They are there to celebrate with you. And invest in a good photographer who can reflect you and your style. When it's all over and done, the photographs are what you will have to remember the day by."
