Emily & Jason's castle wedding was made for a prince and princess. Holding their wedding at Greystone Castle in New York was the perfect fit for this royal couple. With the greenery hitting the stone color of the castle, the couple's love shined for all of their guests to see.

The theme of their wedding was "Wedding, of course!" With that being said, milk glass was a big influence on their decor. Emily noticed multiple weddings that used milk glass as a huge component of their decor, and promptly told her mother and relatives to keep an eye out for anything milk glass. Milk glass ended up being used in their beautiful center pieces, as part of their appetizer display, and even included it in their buffet! The color palette fit perfectly with the location and decor, from the stone gray of the groom's tux to the pale and hot pinks of the flowers and bride's heels, the natural colors highlighted the happiness between Emily & Jason.

Their unique guest book stood out among their DIY decor. "Please Leaf your fingerprint & sign your name" was written next to a picture frame that said "Jason & Emily September 10, 2011". Green "leaves" filled the empty tree in the picture frame as guests left their mark on the couple's special day.

Emily's favorite moment of the day was when she was about to walk down the aisle, and saw the love of her life, Jason. Being together for so long, Emily & Jason talked about how staying in separate rooms the night before the wedding was just silly. However, at the rehearsal dinner, Jason decided that it was really important that they follow the tradition of staying in separate rooms, and feared that they might regret it in the end. The couple was very glad that they decided to spend the night apart because it made the moment that much more special.

Emily's advice for soon-to-be brides?

"Stay calm!! There were so many things that can and will go wrong. From the linens being the wrong color, or your coordinator leaving you high and dry just a few weeks from your wedding day, the only thing that you can do is smile, and think about the big picture... getting to marry the man you love!"

"DIY--trust me. You will be amazed at what you can, and how much money you will save!"
