Real Wedding: Judy & Antonio
Judy and Antonio's wedding was inspired by Judy's interest in Tuscan culture, history, and art. Their rich aubergine palette and gentle calla lilies are the perfect compliments to the historic hotel where they held their reception. "Geneva on the Lake is a place where everyone can have a romantic time, not just the bride and groom. Our guests took romantic strolls around the gardens and by the lake. It was like having a destination wedding without really having to go very far!" says the bride.
Knowing she spends most of her time in a chef coat, Judy wanted to look like a queen at her wedding! She epitomizes all things feminine and beautiful, choosing an oh-so-flattering gown and brilliant jewelry that we absolutely adore. But discarding her chef's coat for a day didn't stop her from designing the menu herself. "Geneva on the Lake was so accommodating to us and created our dishes off the recipes I gave the chef."
"Our favorite aspect of the wedding was how much people enjoyed themselves," says the bride and groom. You can see all of the amazing moments from Judy and Antonio's day at Images Unveiled Photography. "The photographers were great. This husband and wife duo made the events of the day fun, energetic, and very smooth in transition," says the couple.
Judy's tips for soon-to-be brides:
1. Research your local venders. Talk to people you know who have worked with them and check out the reviews online.
2. YOU are the bride! You and your future husband should have the final decision about your details without worrying or feeling any guilt.
