Patricia & Peter combined traditional and modern details to create a timelessly elegant wedding! “Pete and the groomsmen wore tuxedos with bowties and cummerbunds. I chose a cathedral-length train and a blusher veil. A few people even asked if my dress was vintage!” says the bride. “But I added a touch of something untraditional and opted to go with blue shoes for my ‘something blue.’” The couple especially enjoyed sharing their love and merriment with all of their guests. “As our first dance came to a close, everyone joined us on the dance floor. I looked around and saw so many smiling faces, all so happy to celebrate our marriage with us.” But Patricia and Peter made sure to celebrate all the marriages in their family during their reception at Watermill Caterers. “We decorated a table with our parents', grandparents', and great-grandparents' wedding photos to share our family history with our guests,” the couple remembers. “Even the cake topper from my grandparents’ wedding in 1941 made an appearance,” says Patricia. Arrangements seen here include DIY stationary from Patricia, the luxuriant Pedestals Floral Decorators and Watermill Caterers, with all photography by Fine Art Photography.
