Experience & Creative Design
Experience and Creative Design and its sister company, Tablecloths For Granted, owned by Rudy Grant and David Siders, is a sprawling emporium in Schenectady, where visitors come to be inspired in an environment enhanced by fragrant candles, indoor fountains, and calming music.
The store is more like many stores in one. Upstairs, in back, is a DIY paradise, filled with all manner of containers, jewel embellishments, and ribbons for floral arrangements, as well as a huge assortment of botanically correct artificial flowers and trees. The front of the store houses an extraordinary collection of unique home accessories. See something you love? Just start a registry at the store. Downstairs, Tablecloths for Granted has literally thousands of linens on display, all available to rent for events.
David and Rudy love to sit with brides and brainstorm ideas. Their team includes three in-house designers who create everything from church decorations to personal flowers to full-blown "wow" receptions. Both David and Rudy are very involved in charity and community service work, as well. They were featured on the season finale of ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, providing accessories and final setup for the home of a family in Colonie, New York.
