Nicole Kenealy met Mark James doing business in New York City and quickly decided she wanted him to be a part of her life. She devised a plan to get to know him. She added Mark's email address to a list of friends and sent out invitations for a "cocktail hour" in the city. It took three tries to get Mark to go out, but when he finally did, he and Nicole stayed out talking until one o'clock on a Tuesday morning.

After a few informal dates, Cheryl Zirpoli and Tom Barrell found themselves at Fenway Park on a crisp early summer day, and finally realized for sure that they had a lot more in common than a shared love of baseball. “When we were together we always spent a lot of time laughing, joking around and having fun,” says Cheryl. The couple continued to date casually, and when Cheryl had major surgery shortly after they had begun dating, Tom never left her side. “I guess that’s when I knew he was the one for me,” she says.

Adinna Auger and Adam Smith met their second day of college at Cornell University. Bonding over a similar taste in music, Adam immediately wooed Adinna by offering to copy twenty CDs for her. "While there was no specific falling in love moment," Adina says, "we both knew from the start that we had something special, and every day together since has just reinforced that feeling." Eight years later, the two are still deeply in love.
