The Emily Post Institute

Since 1922 American brides have trusted Emily Post for impeccable wedding advice. Today, the tradition continues with the fifth edition of Emily Post's Weddings, by Peggy Post. Brides and grooms can rely on tried and true guidelines for announcing the engagement, writing the invitations and planning the ceremony, as well as find enlightened solutions to handling sticky situations. As new traditions replace old, Peggy answers every couple's contemporary concerns and provides sound advice for creating a wedding grounded in grace and style. The Emily Post Institute was founded in 1946 by Emily Post to study and promote etiquette in America. The Institute is run by the fourth generation of the Post family who research, write and speak about etiquette. Currently, the Institute has 10 titles in publication focusing on weddings, business, children and families and general etiquette.
