John’s work has appeared in Time, Newsweek, People, Vogue & many other publications, been used as an album cover by Johnny Cash, & been included in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery in London, England. He has been sent on assignment to locations all over the world.

Besides being an exceptional wedding photojournalist & portrait photographer, John has worked extensively in the movie business, photographing celebrities for the major Hollywood studios & TV networks.

Storytelling is John’s calling. And his focus as a photographer has always been people - both those that are quite famous, and those that are extraordinary in more accessible & personal ways.

This has led him to the unique creativity & storytelling found in wedding photojournalism, which he has enjoyed for over ten years now.

John finds it very inspiring to be given the opportunity to bring his experience to so visual & meaningful an occasion as a couple's wedding day - & to be able to create for them a detailed visual story of that day, one that combines the real, spontaneous moments & emotions with elegant and stunning portraiture.
